Alejandro Sánchez Martín is the acrobat painter: a Spanish acrobat who paints with his whole body. He performed as an acrobat with Cirque du Soleil in VOLTA, holds a Guinness World Records title, and since 2022 has made paintings through acrobatics under the name ART WITH MOVEMENT.
There is no brush. The paint is thrown, kicked, spun and landed on while he flips, so what stays on the canvas is the shape of the movement. Each session is filmed in one take, in one place, and never repeated.
“From one moment to the next, life can change in any direction, like a rain of bullets falling at random. You never know when you'll be hit.”

Yes: Alejandro Sánchez Martín, a Spanish acrobat who performed with Cirque du Soleil. His paintings are made through acrobatics: flips, handstands and falls put the paint on the canvas. The project is called ART WITH MOVEMENT.
Each collection starts with one idea, then goes to one place that fits it: a Toronto overpass, the Dubai desert, a barn in Béjar. The canvases are set up there and he paints them in a single filmed take, with no brush and no retouching afterwards.
It belongs to the same family as the action painting of Jackson Pollock, where the gesture is the subject of the work. The difference is the size of the gesture: not the arm, but the whole body in flight, filmed so the gesture can be seen.
Whatever the place and the body give. Sand, coffee and sugar from the Dubai session, thrown into wet paint. His own feet, dipped in paint, in Loner. Canvases that fold, in Buffalo Samurai.
Originals from Collection I cost €499 to €999. Shipping is free and insured, worldwide. There are no prints: every piece is one of one.

Nobody can honestly promise that, and we don't. Buy a painting because you want to live with it. What is certain: it is one of one, it can never be painted again, and it comes with the film that proves how it was made.
Five works are in Toronto until 23 October 2026 and can be seen in person. The others ship free, worldwide.
